The ideal applicant for this job will have strong sales and interpersonal skills and know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. They will collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services, developing long-term business relationships. If you understand consumer behaviour, have a flair for client communication, and are familiar with account management software (CRM), this position will be of interest to you!

As an account manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with small-medium business executives, management and stakeholders as well as identifying new business opportunities among existing customers.

You will also answer client queries and prepare sales reports. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Inside Sales and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management needs
  • Open new accounts and promote the Keypak brand in the territory
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, and customer stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status as necessary
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Infusionsoft or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management initiatives at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports,effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Prospecting and cold calling ckills

  • Packaging industry experience is an asset
